A MOTION approving the Permitting Division Permit Funding and Staffing Model Report required by the 2026-2027 Biennial Budget Ordinance, Ordinance 20023, Section 17, Proviso P1, as amended by Ordinance 20086, Section 3, P1.

WHEREAS, the 2026-2027 Biennial Budget Ordinance, Ordinance 20023, Section 17, Proviso P1, as amended by Ordinance 20086, Section 3, P1, requires the executive to transmit a permit funding and staffing model report, and
WHEREAS, the provision further requires the executive to submit a motion that approves the report;
WHEREAS, the executive has transmitted to the council the requested report entitled Permit Funding and Staffing Model Report along with a motion approving the report;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT MOVED by the Council of King County:
The King County Council hereby approves the Permit Funding and Staffing Model Report, Attachment A to this motion, in compliance with the 2026-2027 Biennial
Budget Ordinance, Ordinance 20023, Section 17, Proviso P1, as amended by Ordinance 20086, Section 3, P1.
