Title
A MOTION authorizing the King County office of the fire marshal to accept the donation of self contained breathing apparatus; the estimated value of this donation is twenty thousand dollars.
Body
      WHEREAS, King County office of the fire marshal is responsible for the investigation of suspicious fires in King County through its fire and arson investigations unit, and
      WHEREAS, the office has assigned to it a supervisor and five fire investigators who are responsible for conducting fire investigations, and
      WHEREAS, Duvall Fire District (District 45) has purchased with grant monies six full air packs (personal self contained breathing apparatus) with six spare air bottles that it would like to donate to the county, and
      WHEREAS, the office of the fire marshal has identified a need for self contained breathing apparatus and can use the donation in the performance of their investigatory duties;
      NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT MOVED by the Council of King County:
      King County the office of the fire marshal's fire and arson investigation unit is authorized to accept the donation of self contained breathing apparatus and spares.  The donation has an estimated value of twenty thousand dollars.
