AN ORDINANCE establishing a fee for radius batch searches conducted by the department of assessments; and adding a new chapter to K.C.C. Title 4.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KING COUNTY
SECTION 1. A. Sections 2 through 5 of this ordinance propose imposing a fee for conducting radius batch searches in accordance with K.C.C. Title 21A by the department of assessments.
B. These fees are imposed under K.C.C. 2.99.030.
SECTION 2. Sections 3 through 5 of this ordinance should constitute a new chapter in K.C.C. Title 4.
NEW SECTION. SECTION 3. Authorization to assess fee. The King County department of assessments may assess a fee for conducting radius batch searches in accordance with K.C.C. Title 21A, to cover administrative and duplicating costs.
NEW SECTION. SECTION 4. Fee. The radius batch search fee shall be fourteen dollars and seventy-five cents per search.
NEW SECTION. SECTION 5. Procedure for collection. The department of assessments shall establish by rule a procedure for collection of the fee.
