AN ORDINANCE making a supplemental appropriation of $5,082,500 to the building repair and replacement fund to fund amendments to the existing development contract for design development and production of construction drawings for a building not to exceed three hundred thousand rentable square feet, acquisition of an alternate site for the county's auto maintenance function; and amending the 2004 Budget Ordinance, Ordinance 14797, Section 122 and Attachment B, as amended.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KING COUNTY:
SECTION 1. Ordinance14797, Section 122, as amended, is hereby amended by adding thereto and inserting therein the following:
From several capital improvement projects there is hereby appropriated and authorized to be disbursed the following amounts for the specific projects identified in Attachment I of this ordinance:

PROVIDED THAT:
Of this appropriation for CIP project number 395209, King County Office Building Feasibility, $150,000 may not be expended or encumbered until the executive submits a report and council approves by motion a report that specifies the tenants to occupy the King County Office Building. The report shall include rationale for the tenants and illustrate how the recommendations fit within the project financial proforma and the adopted and proposed annual space plans. The report must be filed in the form of 15 copies with the clerk of the council and the chair and lead staff of the budget and fiscal management committee or its successor on or before January 31, 2005.
SECTION 2. Attachment I to this ordinance hereby amends Ordinance 14797, Attachment B, as amended.
