AN ORDINANCE authorizing the King County executive to execute an addendum to the interlocal agreement with the King County ferry district related to the county providing passenger only ferry service, implementation of capital investment program and technical support services to the district.

STATEMENT OF FACTS:  
1.  Ordinance 17481, which took effect December 23, 2012, authorized the King County executive to execute an interlocal agreement with the King County ferry district related to the county providing passenger only ferry service, implementing the district's capital investment program and providing technical support services to the district.
2.  The interlocal agreement did not authorize the district to approve advance payment to the county for services identified in the interlocal agreement, as would be required to be consistent with RCW 42.24.080.

      BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KING COUNTY:
      SECTION 1.  The council approves the Addendum to Interlocal Agreement between King County and the King County Ferry District regarding administrative and support services, attached as Attachment A to this ordinance, and authorizes the executive to sign the addendum.
