Title

A MOTION approving the 2027 work plan and operating budget for SKHHP, South King Housing and Homelessness Partners.

Body

                     WHEREAS, King County and the cities of Auburn, Burien, Covington, Des Moines, Federal Way, Kent, Maple Valley, Normandy Park, Renton, SeaTac, and Tukwila are parties to an Interlocal Agreement for South King Housing and Homelessness Partners ("SKHHP"), as authorized by Ordinance 18945, and

                     WHEREAS, pursuant to the interlocal agreement, each participating jurisdiction must approve SKHHP's recommended annual work plan and operating budget, which becomes effective upon approval by the legislative body of each party and adoption by the SKHHP executive board, and

                     WHEREAS, on May 15, 2026, the SKHHP executive board recommended to the legislative body of each party, as SKHHP's work plan and operating budget, the 2027 SKHHP Work Plan and SKHHP 2027 Operating Budget, which are Attachments A and B to SKHHP Resolution 2026-03, which is Attachment A to this motion;

                     NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT MOVED BY THE COUNCIL OF KING COUNTY:

                     The 2027 work plan and operating budget for SKHHP, South King Housing and

Homelessness Partners, which are Attachments A and B to SKHHP Resolution 2026-03, which is Attachment A to this motion, is hereby approved.
