A RESOLUTION relating to levee vegetation, and authorizing the chair to enter into a grant agreement with the state of Washington, Puget Sound Partnership, in the amount of $9,723.

WHEREAS, the state of Washington, Puget Sound Partnership, desires to award a grant of $9,723 to the King County Flood Control Zone District ("District") for the purpose of allowing District consultant Gordon Thomas Honeywell, LLP to perform additional services relating to the United States Army Corps of Engineers updated Policy Guidance Letter on levee vegetation; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors desires to accept the grant award and to enter into a grant agreement with Puget Sound Partnership; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE KING COUNTY FLOOD CONTROL ZONE DISTRICT:
SECTION 1. The chair of the King County Flood Control Zone District is
authorized to enter into a grant agreement between the state of Washington Puget Sound Partnership and the District, substantially in the form of Attachment A to this Resolution.
