PREAMBLE:
At a special election on May 20, 2003, the voters of King County approved a four-year countywide property tax levy lid lift of not more than 4.9 cents per one thousand dollars of assessed valuation for the purpose of funding the continued and increased operation and maintenance of King County's regional and rural parks, recreation facilities and community-based recreation programs. Collection of this dedicated levy amount will commence in 2004. Ordinance 14586, Section 4, which placed the levy lid lift on the ballot, stipulates that "(t)he levy proceeds shall be deposited in a special revenue fund, which fund shall be created by ordinance."
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KING COUNTY:
SECTION 1. Ordinance 12076, Section 9, as amended, and K.C.C. 4.08.015, each as amended, are each hereby amended to read as follows:
