A MOTION confirming the executive's appointment of Dorothy Frost Teeter, who resides in council district four, to the Harborview Medical Center board of trustees, as a council at-large representative.

WHEREAS, Dorothy Frost Teeter has held an appointment as a clinical assistant professor within the School of Public Health at the University of Washington. In that role, Ms. Frost Teeter lectured from time to time for students earning their master's degrees in health services administration. Ms. Frost Teeter was not compensated for those lectures or for any other work performed for the university. Ms. Frost Teeter has not lectured at the University of Washington in the last three years. Ms. Frost Teeter is not, and has never been, a salaried employee of the university. Based on these facts, the county finds that Ms. Frost Teeter's appointment to the Harborview Medical Center board of trustees does not create a conflict of interest or implicate any other issue under the King County code of ethics, K.C.C. chapter 3.04. The county also finds that Ms. Frost Teeter's appointment is allowed under K.C.C. chapter 2.42;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT MOVED by the Council of King County:
The county executive's appointment of Dorothy Frost Teeter, who resides in council district four, to the Harborview Medical Center board of trustees, as a council at-
large representative, for the remainder of a four-year term to expire on July 31, 2026, is hereby confirmed.
