Body
PREAMBLE:
Built in 1908 as the new City Hall, the Yesler Building is an historic landmark owned by King County government. Over the years the county has used the building to house various programs and agencies. The recent consolidation of the public defense agencies into the King County department of public defense has created a need for contiguous space to accommodate the new county employees. Predevelopment work will determine the feasibility of the adaptive reuse of the Yesler Building as a cost-efficient, long-term solution for colocating this vital public service.
