Title

A MOTION approving the job description for the position of inspector general.

Body

                     WHEREAS, Ordinance 20101 created an inspector general division within the office of public complaints, and

                     WHEREAS, K.C.C. 2.52.030 directs the King County council to appoint an inspector general for a term of five years, and

                     WHEREAS, OR-0230 of the council's organizational motion compilation requires that the employment and administration committee recommend job descriptions for chief officers, independent agency officers, central staff director-level positions, and new job descriptions for any new position within the legislative branch of King County to the council for approval, and

                     WHEREAS, the King County council seeks to establish the job description for the position of inspector general;

                     NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT MOVED by the Council of King County:

                     The job description of the inspector general is approved as Attachment A to this motion.
