Title

A MOTION approving the 2026 budget and work program for ARCH, A Regional Coalition for Housing.

Body

                     WHEREAS, King County and the cities of Beaux Arts Village, Bellevue, Bothell,  Clyde Hill, Hunts Point, Issaquah, Kenmore, Kirkland, Medina, Mercer Island, Newcastle, Redmond, Sammamish, Woodinville, and Yarrow Point are parties to an Amended and Restated Interlocal Agreement for ARCH A Regional Coalition for Housing, as authorized by Ordinance 16898 in 2010, and extended through July 1, 2026, by resolutions of the Executive Board of A Regional Coalition for Housing, most recently on May 14, 2020, and

                     WHEREAS, the interlocal agreement indicates that the recommended annual budget and work plan for A Regional Coalition for Housing ("ARCH") become effective upon approval by the legislative body of each party and final adoption by the ARCH Executive Board, and

                     WHEREAS, on June 13, 2024, the ARCH Executive Board recommended to the legislative body of each party the 2025-2026 ARCH Budget and Work Program as ARCH's budget and work plan, which is Attachment A to this motion;

WHEREAS, on June 12, 2025, the ARCH Executive Board reaffirmed the 2025-2026 ARCH Budget and Work Program, which is Attachment A to this motion, as ARCH’s 2026 budget and work program;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT MOVED BY THE COUNCIL OF KING COUNTY:

                     The 2026 budget and work program for ARCH, A Regional Coalition for Housing, which is Attachment A to this motion, is hereby approved.
