      BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KING COUNTY:
      SECTION 1.  A.  Section 2 of this ordinance proposes changes to the fees charged for sales of copies of the King County Code by the records, elections and licensing services division.
      B.  These fees are assessed under K.C.C. 2.99.030.
      SECTION 2.  Ordinance 5962, Section 2, as amended and K.C.C. 2.12.080 are hereby amended to read as follows:  
      Sale of copies of code.  The records, elections and licensing services division ((shall be permitted and authorized to)) may sell copies of the King County code to subscribers other than county agencies((/)) or departments for a fee of ((one hundred fifty)) three hundred dollars plus an additional charge of ((ten)) fifteen cents per page for quarterly supplements.
