WHEREAS, by adopting Ordinance 20101, the King County council created the inspector general division within the office of public complaints, and
WHEREAS, by passing Motion 17000, the council approved the job description for the inspector general, and
WHEREAS, K.C.C. 2.52.030 directs the King County council to appoint an inspector general for a term of five years, and
WHEREAS, the employment and administrative committee has concluded the recruitment process for the inspector general and recommends ______ to be appointed to inspector general;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT MOVED by the Council of King County:
__________________ is hereby appointed to serve as the inspector general,
director of the King County office of inspector general within the office of public complaints, effective _________, 2026.
