A MOTION approving the Civil Legal Services Study required by the 2026-2027 Biennial Budget Ordinance, 20023, Section 16, as amended by Ordinance 20086, Section 3, Proviso P2, related to the civil division in the prosecuting attorney's office.

WHEREAS, the 2026-2027 Biennial Budget Ordinance, Ordinance 20023, Section 16, as amended by Ordinance 20086, Section 3, Proviso P2, related to the civil division in the prosecuting attorney's office, requires the executive to transmit a legal services study for the civil division in the prosecuting attorney's office, and
WHEREAS, the provision further requires the executive to submit a motion that approves the study;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT MOVED by the Council of King County:
The Civil Legal Services Study for the civil division in the prosecuting attorney’s office, which is Attachment A to this motion, in compliance with the 2026-2027 Biennial
Budget Ordinance, Ordinance 20023, as amended by Ordinance 20086, Section 3, Proviso P2, is hereby approved.
