A MOTION approving a letter regarding a staffing plan for the Harborview construction and infrastructure division, as called for in the 2026-2027 Biennial Budget Ordinance, Ordinance 20023, Section 103, Proviso P1.

                     WHEREAS, in 2026, the Harborview construction and infrastructure division within the department of executive services was created by ordinance, and

                     WHEREAS, as part of its mandate the new division is responsible for partnering with Harborview medical center to:

                       1.  Implement the 2020 bond program;

                       2.  Implement projects funded by the county hospital levy; and

                       3.  Implement other project subject to the hospital services agreement between King County and the University of Washington. and

                     WHEREAS, the 2026-2027 Budget Ordinance, Ordinance 20023, included Section 103, Proviso P1, which called for the executive to submit a staffing plan for the

new division;

                     NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT MOVED by the Council of King County:

                     Attachment A to this motion, HCID Division Staffing Letter, is hereby approved.
