Title

A MOTION authorizing the Chair to enter into the third amendment to the contract for accounting services.

Body

                     WHEREAS, by Motion FCD23-03, the King County Flood Control District ("the District") authorized the Chair of the District to enter into an agreement for accounting services with Francis & Company PLLC, in 2023, and

                     WHEREAS, by FCD Motion FCD24-01the District entered into the first amendment to the contract for accounting services, and

                     WHEREAS, by FCD Motion FCD25-02the District entered into the second amendment to the contract for accounting services, and

                     WHEREAS, the District desires to enter into a third amendment to the contract for accounting services, and

                     WHEREAS, the District has determined it is in the best interest of the District to approve the third amendment to the contract for accounting services as set forth in Attachment A to this Motion;

                     NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT MOVED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE KING COUNTY FLOOD CONTROL ZONE DISTRICT:

                     SECTION 1.  The Chair of the King County Flood Control Zone District is

authorized to enter into the Third Amendment to Contract for Accounting Services King County Flood Control Zone District, Attachment A to this motion.
