Title

A MOTION relating to the organization of the King County Flood Control Zone District Board of Supervisors.

Body

                     WHEREAS, the King County Flood Control Zone District ("District") has specified by motion the chair, vice-chair, members of the executive committee, and the chair and vice-chair of the executive committee, and provided for any changes to these positions to be made by adoption of a formal legislative Motion;

                     NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT MOVED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE KING COUNTY FLOOD CONTROL ZONE DISTRICT:

                     SECTION 1.  Beginning February 10, 2026, and until a successor is elected, the board elects Supervisor Reagan Dunn as District chair and Supervisor Sarah Perry as District vice-chair.

                     SECTION 2.  Beginning February 10, 2026, and until a successor is elected, the board designates the following supervisors as members of the District executive committee:

                     Supervisors:  Reagan Dunn, Sarah Perry, Steffanie Fain, Rhonda Lewis, and Pete von Reichbauer.

                     SECTION 3.  Beginning February 10, 2026, and until the District executive committee elects a successor, the board designates Supervisor Reagan Dunn as District executive committee chair and Supervisor Sarah Perry as District executive committee vice-chair.  The Board waives Section 4, Subsection D, of the Rules and Operating Procedures for the purposes of these appointments only.
