Title

A MOTION acknowledging receipt of a report on sexual assault cases in compliance with the 2025 Annual Budget Ordinance, Ordinance 19861, Section 31, Proviso P2.

Body

                     WHEREAS, the 2025 Annual Budget Ordinance, Ordinance 19861, Section 31, appropriated moneys from the general fund to the prosecuting attorney, and Proviso P2 required the prosecuting attorney to transmit a report on sexual assault cases and a motion that should acknowledge receipt of the report by July 31, 2025;

                     NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT MOVED by the Council of King County:

                     Receipt of the prosecuting attorney's office proviso response, Attachment A to

this motion, in response to the 2025 Annual Budget Ordinance, Ordinance 19861, Section 31, Proviso P2, is hereby acknowledged.
