Title
AN ORDINANCE relating to the 2017 King County 10 Step Hourly Squared Schedule, 2017 King County 10 Step Annual/FLSA-Exempt Squared Schedule, 2017 King County Standardized Hourly Salary Schedule, 2017 King County Standardized Annual/FLSA-Exempt Salary Schedule, and the annual general wage increase for nonrepresented King County employees as stipulated in K.C.C. 3.12.130 and K.C.C. 3.12.140.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KING COUNTY:
SECTION 1. The attached 2017 King County 10 Step Hourly Squared Schedule, 2017 King County 10 Step Annual/FLSA-Exempt Squared Schedule, 2017 King County 10 Step Standardized Hourly Salary Schedule and 2017 King County Standardized 10 Step Annual/FLSA-Exempt Salary Schedule, are approved and adopted.
SECTION 2. The salary tables listed in section 1 of this ordinance, reflect a two and one-quarter percent increase from the 2016 tables, thereby granting a general wage increase for nonrepresented employees of the King County executive branch, King County council, prosecuting attorney's office, district courts and superior courts, to be effective January 1, 2017. The wages of any nonrepresented executive branch, county council, prosecuting attorney's office, district court or superior court employee whose wages are not based on any salary table listed in section 1 of this ordinance, shall be increased by two and one-quarter percent, effective January 1, 2017. This ordinance shall not apply to elected officials, superior court commissioners, district court chief administrative officers or judges pro tem. Represented employees' general wage
increases shall be governed by the employees' respective collective bargaining agreements.
