Title

AN ORDINANCE authorizing the execution of an amendment to an existing lease to support the operation of the King County sheriff's office.

STATEMENT OF FACTS:

For the lease from Curran Properties/Fairwood Square, LLC, located at 17620 140th Avenue Southeast, Renton, within council district nine, the facilities management division determined that there was not an appropriate county-owned option and successfully negotiated to extend the existing lease.

                     BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KING COUNTY:

                     SECTION 1.  The executive is authorized to execute an amendment for renewal of an existing lease for the property located at 17620 140th Avenue Southeast, Renton, with Curran Properties/Fairwood Square, LLC, substantially in the form of Attachment A

to this ordinance, and to take all actions necessary to implement the terms of the lease amendment.
