Title

A MOTION relating to the King County Flood Control Zone District's personnel, adopting Staffing and Personnel Policies.

Body

                     WHEREAS, the King County Flood Control Zone District ("District"), acting through its Executive Committee pursuant to authority delegated by the Board of Supervisors through the District's Rules and Operating Procedures at Section 4, previously adopted policies to govern the District's employees, and

                     WHEREAS, the District seeks to amend its policies by adopting the King County Legislative Branch Employee, Equipment, and Facilities Policies Updated April 2024, Version 5, and

                     WHEREAS, the District seeks to make these efficient updates to existing policy in order to align with the goals of employee health and safety set by the King County Council;

                     NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT MOVED BY THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE OF THE KING COUNTY FLOOD CONTROL ZONE DISTRICT:

                     SECTION 1.  The King County Flood Control Zone District Executive Committee adopts the King County Legislative Branch Employee, Equipment, and

Facilities Policies Updated April 2024, Version 5, attached to this motion as Attachment A.
