AN ORDINANCE relating to the adoption of the King County Consortium Consolidated Housing and Community Development Plan for 2005-2009.

      BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KING COUNTY:
      SECTION 1.  Definitions.  The following terms shall have these specific meanings:
      A.  "Community development block Grant program" means the program for which King County receives annual entitlement grant funds through the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development.
      B.  "Home investment partnerships program" means the program for which King County receives an annual formula allocation of funds through the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development.
      C.  "King County consortium" means King County and all suburban cities that have entered into, or will enter into, interlocal cooperation agreements with King County for the purpose of participating in the Federal Community Development Block Grant Program or the Federal Home Investment Partnerships Program, or both.
      SECTION 2.  The attached King County Consortium Consolidated Housing and Community Development Plan for 2005-2009 is hereby adopted to guide the planning and investment of the community development block grant program, home investment
 
partnerships program and other  federal housing and community development programs for the next five years.
