AN ORDINANCE approving and adopting two memoranda of agreement negotiated by and between King County and the Juvenile Division Supervisors bargaining unit, representing supervisors in the juvenile division of the department of adult and juvenile detention and establishing the effective date of the agreements.

                     BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KING COUNTY:

                     SECTION 1.  The memoranda of agreement negotiated by and between King County and the Juvenile Division Supervisors bargaining unit, representing supervisors in the juvenile division of the department of adult and juvenile detention, which are Attachment A and Attachment B to this ordinance, are hereby approved and adopted by this reference made a part hereof.

                     SECTION 2.  Terms and conditions of the agreements shall be effective for the agreement for voluntary and mandatory overtime pay upon written notice by the county to the Juvenile Division Supervisors bargaining unit and department of adult and juvenile detention payroll and based on the date payroll can implement the agreement and may become part of the collective bargaining agreement if not terminated in 2025, and for the agreement for declined mandatory overtime protocol upon written notice by the county to the Juvenile Division Supervisors bargaining unit and department of adult and juvenile detention payroll and based on the date payroll can implement the agreement, through no later than January 1, 2026, as specified in the agreement.
