AN ORDINANCE relating to the 2015 and 2016 King County 10 Step Hourly Squared Schedules, 2015 and 2016 King County 10 Step Annual/FLSA Exempt Squared Schedules, 2015 and 2016 King County Standardized Hourly Salary Schedules, and the 2015 and 2016 King County Standardized Annual/FLSA Exempt Salary Schedules, and the annual cost-of-living increase for non-represented King County employees as stipulated in K.C.C. 3.12.130 and K.C.C. 3.12.140.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KING COUNTY:
SECTION 1. The attached 2015 King County 10 Step Hourly Squared Schedule, 2015 King County 10 Step Annual/FLSA Exempt Squared Schedule, 2015 King County Standardized Hourly Salary Schedule and 2015 King County Standardized Annual/FLSA Exempt Salary Schedule, are approved and adopted.
SECTION 2. The salary tables listed in section 1 of this ordinance reflect a two percent increase from the 2014 tables, thereby granting a cost-of-living increase for non-represented employees of the King County executive branch, King County council, prosecuting attorney's office, district courts and superior courts, to be effective January 1, 2015. Any nonrepresented executive branch, county council, prosecuting attorney's office, district court or superior court employee, not paid from any salary table listed in section 1 of this ordinance, shall have his or her wages increased by two percent, effective January 1, 2015. These salary schedules shall not apply to elected officials, superior court commissioners, district court chief administrative officer or judges pro tem. Represented employees' cost-of-living increases shall be governed by the employees' respective collective bargaining agreements.
SECTION 3. The attached 2016 King County 10 Step Hourly Squared Schedule, 2016 King County 10 Step Annual/FLSA Exempt Squared Schedule, 2016 King County Standardized Hourly Salary Schedule and 2016 King County Standardized Annual/FLSA Exempt Salary Schedule, are approved and adopted.
SECTION 4. The salary tables listed in section 3 of this ordinance reflect a two and one-quarter percent increase from the 2015 tables, thereby granting a cost-of-living increase for nonrepresented employees of the King County executive branch, King County council, prosecuting attorney's office, district courts and superior courts, to be effective January 1, 2016. Any nonrepresented executive branch, county council, prosecuting attorney's office, district court or superior court employee, not paid from any salary table listed in section 3 of this ordinance, shall have his or her wages increased by two and one-quarter percent, effective January 1, 2016.
