AN ORDINANCE approving a sign easement for the Overdale Park Homeowners Association to install and maintain information sign in council district 12 and authorizing the executive to execute an easement agreement.

STATEMENT OF FACTS:
1.  Under K.C.C. 4.56.010, the King County council may authorize the King County executive to grant an easement on county property.
2.  The Overdale Park Homeowners Association has requested a sign easement in council district 12 to install, operate, and maintain an informational sign to identify Overdale Park Homeowners Association residential subdivision.
3.  During the construction and new alignment of the North Spar/Issaquah Fall City Road Realignment project, King County acquired Parcel No. 2224069026 in order to complete a portion of the road project.  The Overdale Park Homeowners Association was required to remove an existing sign located at the corner of SE 58th Street and Issaquah-Fall City Road from the parcel acquired by King County.
4.  The department of transportation, road services division, agreed to provide the Association with a permanent easement for the installation and placement of a new informational sign identifying the Overdale Park Homeowners Association and recommends the council's approval of the informational sign easement.
5.  In consideration of the granting of a signage easement, the Overdale Park Homeowners Association has agreed to pay one thousand three hundred fourteen dollars for four hundred and fifteen feet of land area.
6.  The easement request has been referred to the relevant county departments for review.
7.  The King County executive has recommended approval of this easement request.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KING COUNTY:
      SECTION 1.  The King County executive is authorized to grant a sign easement and all necessary appurtenances, substantially in the form of Attachment A to this ordinance, for the following described property:
THAT PORTION OF THE SOUTH HALF OF SECTION 22 TOWNSHIP 24 NORTH, RANGE 6 EAST W.M., IN KING COUNTY, WASHINGTON, DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS:  COMMENCING AT THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF LOT 92 IN THE PLAT OF OVERDALE PARK NO. 3 AS RECORDED IN VOLUME 60 OF PLATS, PAGE 84, RECORDS OF KING COUNTY, WASHINGTON; THENCE ALONG A CURVE TO THE RIGHT FROM WHICH THE CENTER BEARS SO °29' 34”E 347.70 FEET DISTANT. THENCE EASTERLY ALONG SAID CURVE ALSO BEING THE NORTHERLY RIGHT OF WAY MARGIN OF SE 68TH STREET (AS ESTABLISHED PER PLAT OF OVERDALE PARK NO. 3) THROUGH A CENTRAL ANGLE OF 7°24'08” AN ARC LENGTH 0F 44.92 FEET TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING OF SAID EASEMENT; THENCE CONTINUING ALONG SAID CURVE AND MARGIN THROUGH A CENTRAL ANGLE OF 3°57'18” AN ARC LENGTH OF 24.00 FEET;THENCE N10°51'52”E 18.00 FEET, TO A POINT ON A CURVE TO THE LEFT FROM WHICH THE CENTER BEARS S10 °51'52”W 365.70 FEET DISTANT; THENCE WESTERLY ALONG SAID CURVE THROUGH A CENTRAL ANGLE OF 3°57'18” AN ARC LENGTH OF
