      BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KING COUNTY:
      SECTION 1.  The director of the department of transportation has made an examination of SE Mount Si Road from a point approximately 1300 feet southerly of the middle fork of the Snoqualmie River to a point approximately 830 feet northerly of the middle fork of the Snoqualmie River along the course and description set forth below and has made a favorable report upon the same, as required by RCW 36.81.050.
      SECTION 2.  Said road shown on Attachment A to this ordinance shall be established as follows:
      That portion of the Southeast Quarter of Section 10 and of the Southwest Quarter of Section 11, all of Township 23 North, Range 8 East, Willamette Meridian in King County, Washington described as follows:
Commencing at the Southeast corner of said Section 10; thence South 89°44'21" West along the south line of said Section 10 a distance of 942.97 feet; thence North 49°56'40" East a distance of 15.55 feet to the point of beginning of this establishment centerline, said point having a calculated NAD83-91 Washington state plane coordinate of North 178271.93, East 1410777.73 at engineers station 55+00; thence continuing North 49°56'40" East a distance of 141.38 feet to engineers station 56+41.38 and the beginning of a 656.00 foot radius tangent curve to the left; thence northwesterly along the arc of said curve through a central angle of 16°26'54" an arc length of 188.32 feet to engineers station 58+29.70; thence North 33°29'46" East a distance of 333.28 feet to engineers station 61+62.98 and the beginning of a 752.00 foot radius tangent curve to the right; thence northeasterly along the arc of said curve through a central angle of 32°30'20" an arc length of 426.63 feet to engineers station 65+89.61; thence North 66°00'07" East a distance of 200.98 feet to engineers station 68+70.60 and the beginning of a 656.00 foot radius tangent curve to the right; thence southeasterly along the arc of said curve through a central angle of 54°51'58" an arc length of 628.18 feet to engineers station 74+98.78; thence South 59°07'56" East a distance of 139.50 feet to engineers station 76+38.28, said point being at NAD83-91 Washington state plane coordinate North 179059.40, East 1412495.84 and the terminus of said establishment centerline.  The length of said establishment centerline to be 2,138.28 feet or 0.40 miles.
That said the road should be established 60.00 feet wide, being 30.00 feet on each side of the above mentioned establishment centerline and described as follows:
Beginning at engineers station 56+81.83 30.00 feet right, said point being at the extension of the westerly margin of the Snoqualmie trail; thence parallel to said establishment centerline to terminate at engineers station 74+34.13; together with beginning at engineers station 56+75.32 30.00 feet left, said point being at the westerly margin of the Snoqualmie trail; thence parallel to said establishment centerline to terminate at engineers station 74+36.35.  The northerly sideline of said road to be trimmed to meet the existing rights-of-way of 434th Avenue SE.
 
      SECTION 3.  The King County council finds that the establishment of said roadway, along the course and description set forth, is a public necessity.
