A MOTION approving project eligibility criteria for the selection of projects to be funded by conservation futures; and rescinding Motion 11144.

                     WHEREAS, in 2000 by Motion 10895, the conservation futures citizens committee was directed to draft project eligibility criteria, including definitions of the open space criteria specified in Ordinance 13717, for transmittal to the King County council by a motion approving the project eligibility criteria, and

                     WHEREAS, the committee developed project eligibility criteria and general conditions that the council approved in 2001 as Attachment A to Motion 11144, and

                     WHEREAS, in 2018 the committee recognized the need to update the project eligibility criteria to incorporate open space equity criteria and the match waiver authorized in 2018 by Ordinance 18774, and

                     WHEREAS, in 2019 the committee completed updated project eligibility criteria and general conditions attached to the motion as Attachment A;

                     NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT MOVED by the Council of King County:

                     A.  The council hereby approves the project eligibility criteria and general conditions in Attachment A to this motion for the selection of projects to be funded by

conservation futures revenues.

                     B.  Motion 11144 is hereby rescinded.
