Title
A RESOLUTION authorizing the Chair of the King County Ferry District to execute the third addendum to the interlocal agreement with King County regarding administrative and support services to the King County Ferry District.
Body
WHEREAS, on April 14, 2008, the King County Ferry District ("District") adopted Resolution FD2007-05.2, which approved an interlocal agreement with King County (Interlocal Agreement) to provide technical expertise and services to effectively and efficiently provide passenger-only ferry services to the people of the county; and
WHEREAS, on April 27, 2009, the District adopted Resolution FD2009-04, which approved an addendum to the Interlocal Agreement to authorize the county to perform technical studies and develop a plan for demonstration route implementation; and
WHEREAS, on October 25, 2010, the District adopted Resolution FD2010-20.1, which approved a second addendum to the Interlocal Agreement to extend the period of the Interlocal Agreement; and
WHEREAS, the District Board desires to extend the period of the Interlocal Agreement for one year to December 31, 2012; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE KING COUNTY FERRY DISTRICT:
SECTION 1. The Board of Supervisors approves the Third Addendum to the Interlocal Agreement Between King County and the King County Ferry District
Regarding Administrative and Support Services attached as Attachment A to this resolution, and authorizes the Chair of the District to sign the Third Addendum.
