AN ORDINANCE for the October 2011 public transportation improvements for King County.

STATEMENT OF FACTS:
1.  The transit service changes proposed for October 2011 include changes to routes in the cities of Bellevue, Redmond, Kirkland, Clyde Hill, Medina, Beaux Arts, Yarrow Point, Seattle and Kent.
2.  The October 2011 proposed transit service change involves approximately forty-five thousand annual service hours.
3.  The transit service changes proposed for October 2011 are consistent with adopted plan and budget priorities, and within the 2010-2011 biennial budget.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KING COUNTY:
      SECTION 1.  The October 2011 public transportation service improvements for King County, substantially as described in Attachment A to this ordinance, are hereby approved.
      SECTION 2.  These transportation service improvements will be implemented effective October 1, 2011.
