AN ORDINANCE implementing the district court redistricting committee's amendment to the districting plan implementing; and amending Ordinance 8935, Section 4, as amended, and K.C.C. 2.68.070.

STATEMENT OF FACTS:
1. RCW 3.38.050(1) provides that the council may convene the county's district court districting committee at any time.
2. As required by RCW 3.38.040, the county's districting committee met on October 22, 2015 to amend the county's districting plan. The committee considered changes to electoral districts and changes to the names and boundaries of precincts.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KING COUNTY:
SECTION 1. Ordinance 8935, Section 4, as amended, and K.C.C. 2.68.070 are hereby amended to read as follows:
A. There is created a single district court, whose boundaries are all the area within the boundaries of King County, including the centerline of Puget Sound and all of the current city of ((Bothell)) Auburn, including the Pierce county portion, as a joint district court district established under RCW 3.38.060 and named the district court of the state of Washington in and for the district of King County. The Snohomish county portion of the city of Bothell is not included in the boundaries of the King County district court.
B. The number of judges of the King County district court is twenty-five full-time judges.
C. The location of the central office of the King County district court is the King County Courthouse, Seattle, Washington.
D. The court facilities within the unified district are located as follows:
1. Southeast division:
a. City of Kent (colocated with the Southwest division); and
b. City of Auburn;
2. Southwest division:
a. City of Burien ((with));
b. City of Kent (colocated with the Southeast division); and
c. An additional ((facilities)) facility in the vicinity of Vashon business district;
3. Northeast division:
a. City of Bellevue;
