A MOTION accepting a report on the best starts for kids youth and family homelessness prevention initiative lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgendered and queer awareness training contract, in accordance with Attachment B to Ordinance 18373.

                     WHEREAS, Ordinance 18373 approved the Best Starts for Kids Youth and Family Homelessness Prevention Initiative Implementation Plan, updated September 19, 2016, and

                     WHEREAS, the implementation plan approved by Ordinance 18373 calls for a report on provider agencies to receive funding, and

                     WHEREAS, the report is submitted by the executive;

                     NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT MOVED by the Council of King County:

                     The council accepts the report on the best starts for kids youth and family homelessness prevention initiative lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgendered and queer

(LGBTQ) awareness training contract, Attachment A to this motion, in accordance with Attachment B to Ordinance 18373.
