Title
A RESOLUTION relating to the operations and finances of the King County Flood Control Zone District; adopting a revised 2014 budget and operating budget; and amending sections 1 and 2 of Resolution FCD2014-08.
Body
WHEREAS, the King County Flood Control Zone District ("District") adopted the 2014 work program, budget, operating budget (for King County), capital budget, six-year capital improvement program, oversight budget and subregional opportunity fund allocations in Resolution FCD2013-014.3; and
WHEREAS, by Resolution FCD2014-08, the District adopted amendments to Resolution FCD2013-014.3; and
WHEREAS, the District and the King County Water and Land Resources Division ("WLRD") considered and evaluated the Division's contract oversight, site inspection and maintenance, and grant application services, and concluded that adding four and one-half full time equivalent employees to WLRD's staff will facilitate proper oversight of contracts, provide an appropriate level of site inspection and maintenance, and allow for filing of more grant applications; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to RCW 86.15.140, the District held a public hearing on the budget items proposed in this Resolution on _________, 2014; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE KING COUNTY FLOOD CONTROL ZONE DISTRICT:
SECTION 1. The Board of Supervisors amends Attachment B, adopted by section 2 of Resolution FCD2013-14.3 and amended by section 1 of Resolution FCD2014-08, by replacing it with the "2014 Revised Budget 7-9-14," Attachment A to this Resolution.
SECTION 2. The Board of Supervisors amends Attachment C, adopted by section 3 of Resolution FCD2013-14.3 and amended by section 2 of Resolution
FCD2014-08, by replacing it with the "2014 Revised Operating Budget 7-9-14", Attachment B to this resolution.
