      BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KING COUNTY:
      SECTION 1.  The attached 2014 King County 10 Step Hourly Squared Schedule, 2014 King County 10 Step Annual/FLSA Exempt Squared Schedule, 2014 King County Standardized Hourly Salary Schedule and 2014 King County Standardized Annual/FLSA Exempt Salary Schedule, are approved and adopted.
      SECTION 2.  The salary tables listed in section 1 of this ordinance reflect a one point six seven percent increase from the 2013 tables, thereby granting a cost-of-living increase for non-represented employees of the King County executive branch, King County council, prosecuting attorney's office, district courts and superior courts, to be effective January 1, 2014.  Any non-represented executive branch, county council, prosecuting attorney's office, district court, or superior court employee, not paid from any salary table listed in section 1 of this ordinance, shall have their wages increased by one point six seven percent.  These salary schedules shall not apply to elected officials, superior court commissioners, district court chief administrative officer or judges pro
tem.  Represented employees' cost-of-living increases shall be governed by the employees' respective collective bargaining agreements.
