Title
AN ORDINANCE authorizing the county executive to execute a contract agreement between King County and Tahoma School District No. 409 for school resource officer law enforcement services.
Body
STATEMENT OF FACTS:
1.  Tahoma School District No. 409 desires to provide school resource officer services in schools within its jurisdiction.  For the 2012-2013 school year, the school district has requested forty-five thousand dollars in hourly school resource officer services to be provided.
2.  The county has the ability to provide these school resource officer services.
3.  Participation in the agreement is to the benefit of the citizens of King County.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KING COUNTY:
      SECTION 1.  The county executive is hereby authorized to execute a contract
agreement with Tahoma School District No. 409, in substantially the form of Attachment A to this ordinance.
